Tumbledown Farm is the creation of a suburban central Indiana
family. We welcome your comments, criticisms, suggestions for
improvement and recommendations for additional research.
We offer
in an informal way what was once offered more elaborately by the
National Service Institute to farm families, 19th and early 20th
century advice about all aspects of the rural life with
personal contact and with answers that are newly researched,
tested, and described in living color as questions are received.

We invite others
to join us in the creation of a network of experimental research
stations to report on projects that support sustainable, suburban
micro-farms. We also welcome reader contributions
(photos and stories about sustainable farming and organic gardening)
and information about farm publications from the 19th and early 20th
centuries.
