Fairfax or Jerseybelle Strawberries?

Does anyone know where to find Fairfax or Jerseybelle strawberry cultivars?

Because of my page listing varieties of strawberries (past and present) and how to grow them, I frequently receive notes asking whether I have particular varieties available for sale. I would love to answer yes, but unfortunately I haven't been able to locate the two most frequently requested berries, except as crosses with other varieties.

For example, on the USDA's Agricultural Research site with a USDA ARS search for Jerseybelle (http://www.ars.usda.gov).

Other gene banks include the European site GenBerry, the EU Ag genetic research page, Biodiversity International, and the Italian Cost863 Euroberry site.

It seems to me that someone out there surely has a few Fairfax or Jerseybelle runners to share, so that a few interested growers could produce them for sale to the rest of us. I would be happy to propagate a few for distribution if someone will send a few live samples along! ...or tell us where they are available. My readers are hungry for these classic berries. Still searching.
